ProOne Introduces New Oilfield Products

Fullerton, California December 1, 2020 – Using its proprietary XPL+® lubrication technology, ProOne Inc. has introduced additional oilfield products for use with frac pump equipment, artificial lift systems, positive displacement pumps, and stationery gas compressors.

Originally developed for motor-racing and heavy-duty industrial equipment, ProOne’s XPL+ technology has proven its superiority in a wide range of industries including mining, transportation and manufacturing. In the oil & gas industry, ProOne is best known for its drilling lubricants which have been used in over 1,500 wells, saving operators hundreds of thousands of dollars by reducing NPT (non-productive time).  With the introduction of engine oils, gear oils and greases specifically developed for demanding oil & gas applications, ProOne’s footprint in the industry now extends to other upstream and midstream equipment where superior performance is demanded.

The expanded oilfield line includes products that help reduce frac pump failures, a common and expensive problem due to the high pressure and extreme conditions faced by this equipment. With XPL+ bonding technology, ProOne’s packing oil and grease products reduce heat, friction and intense pressures, while a new valve grease can withstand up to 15,000psi. These products have been extensively field tested and proven to take equipment farther between failures and reduce maintenance costs. ProOne’s Natural Gas Engine Oils provide incomparable TAN performance and TBN retention for gas compressors while extending oil change intervals by as much as 50-100%.

“Our proprietary XPL+ lubrication technology allows ProOne to create virtually any lubricant, oil or grease product with performance that outmatches anything on the market. We have proven this in everything from motorsports to mining and from steel manufacturing to oil & gas applications,” said Tim Wagner, President and VP of R&D and Technology for ProOne.  “We have yet to find a product anywhere in the world which outperforms ProOne when it comes to lubrication under extreme conditions,” he added.
